Foundation of the Thuenensociety
The Thuenensociety e. V. has been founded in september 1990 in Tellow. It is our concern to preserve, review and spread the academic legacy of Johann Heinrich von Thuenen. This website is designed to inform you about the different projects of the Thuenensociety.
Aims
Besides initiating and supporting colloquia the Thuenensociety e. V. supports the publication of papers which are concerned with von Thuenen. Since 2006 the Thuenen-Jahrbuch aims at combining the different approaches of dealing with von Thuenen and at intensifying the academic dialogue. Additionally, the Thuenensociety e. V. endavours extending the reception of the Thuenen Rings and solving the social question and schools and universities.
